Spent the whole (4 day) weekend without access to my email, due to various factors. Ouch. I get a little jittery without my lifeline...

Had fun visiting the folks. Last time I'll get to be in that house, so I had to enjoy it while I could. We mostly just hung out. Ate at various places around the Southland -- Costa Mesa, Long Beach, Santa Monica, Irvine, etc. Took Rachel's car out for a spin.

Came home and picked up Orion yesterday. Not sure if he was happy to see me, I think he would have preferred to have stayed behind with Sugar at Sean's house. I think he had a great time over there -- probably chasing around non-stop with her. He ran right into the backyard when he got home though, so I think he missed his little pad.

Car in the shop today. Got a Saturn station wagon as a loaner in the meantime. Not quite as classy, but thats OK.

Congrats to Adam and Nicole who both got the jobs they wanted (doubt they are reading this, but you never know...)

The question is, why are politicians so eager to be president? What is it about the job that makes it worth revealing, on national television, that you have the ethical standards of a slime-coated piece of industrial waste?
