I've been collecting tools on and off for the last 10 years or so even, since we bought our first house. I never really had a space truly dedicated to them until now though. It's taken about 5 years of living in this house before I managed to get my 3rd car garage space cleaned up and organized enough to turn it into the workshop I've been thinking about for the last few years.
It's not perfect, I'd love to have a 3 car garage dedicated but for now I have to make do with my 10x20 space. I managed to squeeze in all my major tools and a bunch of minor ones too.
One recent addition is a new workbench that I picked up from Harbor Freight. Usually I wouldn't trust much of anything from Harbor Freight, but the reviews on this thing were actually pretty decent and with the ubiquitous HF coupon it was a fraction of the price of a brand name bench from someone like Sjöbergs.
