speak your mind
Today is Bill of Rights Day, the 214th anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights. I suggest you celebrate by speaking your mind, publishing a newspaper, peaceably assembling, practicing a religion of your choice (or none at all), and petitioning the government. While you're at it you might also consider bearing arms, denying quarter to soldiers (unless you know them, in which case you're on your own), refusing to be searched, not incriminating yourself, enjoying a criminal and civil jury trial, and avoiding cruel and unusual punishment. I can't think of a specific method to celebrate numbers 9 and 10, let me know if you come up with anything. If you manage to get all of the above done today, then take the rest of the week off, you've earned it!
