I just happened to glance at iTunes and it turns out I added an average of a movie a week to our collection during 2010, almost all ripped from DVD or Blu-ray (all were purchased legally but only a couple were download-only, I prefer to get the discs because they're usually cheaper - go figure).
That's 52 new movies last year which isn't all that many in the grand scheme of things — I know of people who buy many many more than that – but it did surprise me a bit.
So, ummm, movie night anyone? I'm not going to mention the 200+ TV episodes that have somehow also materialized. I guess I could stop impulse-buying DVDs but what's the fun in that? I mean, everyone should own a copy of Weird Science, right?
